LASTING MOMENTS….WEDDING/EVENT BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please read and understand the following Terms & Conditions to ensure the success and enjoyment of your wedding/event at Lasting Moments.
BOOKING INQUIRY FORM:
The first step to securing a wedding or event through Lasting Moments is to complete the Booking Inquiry Form on the website. There is a form for weddings and one for events. Make sure to include dates and times that one of our consultants can contact you to answer questions and help you plan that special day.
SAVE THE DATE:
Once a Lasting Moment consultant, has had an opportunity to talk with you they will collect a 100L save the date fee. This fee holds the date and time for your wedding/event. Keep in mind holidays are difficult days to book a wedding/event because the staff might be tied up in real life which would make it hard for us to make that day special for you. We would prefer not to schedule on one of those days if we can not promise to deliver our clients the best possible service. If a holiday date is used the total cost needs to be paid in full at the time of booking and cancellations/ rescheduling needs 72 hour notice otherwise no funds will be refunded..
FOR WEDDING PACKAGES ONLY:
Lasting Moments offers a variety of wedding packages to fit everyone’s budget. Please read the details of each package carefully as they specifically outline exactly what services you will be entitled to as part of the package cost.. Lasting Moments does offer a lot of add-ons which could be used with any package at an additional charge, If you are looking to add several add-ons to a package it might be a better value to buy the higher tier package. Our experienced consultants will help you through that process.
PAYMENTS:
Once you have met with a Lasting Moments consultant, reserved a date and time, and worked out the details of that special day we require a 50% deposit. Deposits are non-refundable.
One week before the day, half of the remaining cost is due, with the final payment being made the day before the scheduled wedding/event.
A weekly payment plan is available for any wedding/events costing more than 20,000L. Missing a weekly payment could result in cancellation of your wedding/event.
ADDITIONAL FEES:
At Lasting Moments we pride ourselves in delivering quality service that pays attention to detail. Wedding packages or events costing 20,000L or more occurring two weeks or less from the date of booking will be subject to a 20% rush fee. Custom weddings or custom events, where a venue needs to be designed and built, occurring three weeks or less from the date of booking will be subject to a 25% rush fee.
CANCELLATIONS:
If for any reason, you need to cancel your wedding/event please do so at least 48 hours in advance by contacting your Lasting Moments consultant. All funds paid except for the deposit will be refunded within 24 hours of receiving the cancellation request..
TERMINATION OF SERVICES:
One of our main purposes is to provide our clients with exceptional service when helping you to make your wedding/event a lasting moment. However, we recognize that sometimes, despite our efforts to make this a happy and stress free process, there may be occasions when we need to terminate our services with an overly demanding client. if they become rude or belligerent to the owners or consultants. As with cancellations, all funds paid except the deposit will be refunded within 24 hours of terminating services.
RESCHEDULING:
Rescheduling a wedding/event will be done once at no additional cost. There is no point in having a wedding when the bride’s Internet is out or a rez day party when the person had to stay late at work. However if the date needs to be rescheduled more than once a 10% rescheduling fee will be charged for each time it needed to be rescheduled. The new date must happen within 3 months of the original date unless we can not accommodate your schedule for whatever reason..
Sometimes Second Life servers might be down for maintenance or technical difficulties, in those situations Lasting Moments will reschedule the date with you as soon as possible at no additional fee.
WEDDING REHEARSALS:
In order you things to go as smooth as possible on your wedding day, it is important for the bride, groom, and wedding party to participate in a wedding rehearsal prior to the wedding date. This usually takes place on a few days before the wedding. We ask that people arrive promptly for the rehearsal so we do not take up too much time. This takes about 30 to 45 minutes depending on the size of the wedding party..
DAY OF THE WEDDING:
We do ask that guests and people in the wedding arrive at the venue at least 10 minutes before the ceremony. so we can begin on time. We will only delay the ceremony by 15 minutes if a member of the wedding party is not there. Delaying it any longer will significantly cut into the time allowed for the reception and festivities.
